This workshop is for someone who wants to dive deep into the craft of traditional beeswax candle-making one-on-one or with a friend or family member. I’ll guide you through the whole steps to make tapered candles using a traditional technique and only natural ingredients. You’ll have an opportunity to ask as many questions as you have and create your own batch of candles. And leave with an understanding of how to start your candle practice at home.
I’ll share everything that I’ve learned and practised over the past 1,5 years. And together we’ll wind down our busy minds and focus on making natural candles by hand, connecting to creativity.
You will learn:
- about the technique, beeswax and other materials.
- how to choose instruments (a simple home kit) to start practising candle making at home.
- things you need to know when working with beeswax to be able to successfully make candles.
- how to choose responsible materials for candles.
